We were called by the Dutch Army Museum (Legemuseum) to do a presentation on very short notice - indeed the next day!
Our stand was on the ground floor of the museum, next to a large window with a view on the water that flows through the old town, a nice spot for my kids. I was alone this time and even though no large crowds showed up, it was not a picnic. I had hoped to do some work on the lorica squamata, but nothing came of that. People walked by on a very regular basis (hardly time for us to eat our lunch), and most had kids with them, my favorite audience in a museum. So, when the museum closed and we packed our stuff in the car again, it had been a nice and busy day.

My kids came along.

We had a nice spot on the ground floor, with much better light than last time.
